Devizes swearbox Tommy Bridewell will partner Josh Brookes at Milwaukee Yamaha in next year's MCE British Superbike Championship and says it is a dream come true.
The strawberry blonde rider finally gets the factory seat he has been craving for years and sees it as a reward for the faith he has had in himself plus a run of podiums at the end of 2013 didn't no harm.
"Shaun runs a good team and it's a dream come true for me to finally have the factory British Superbike ride I have been working for a lot of years. I didn't know if the opportunity would ever come but I have never lost faith and never given up trying," said Bridewell, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"There have been times where I thought, 'What more do I have to do?' I train hard every day, I put everything I have into racing. Luckily, something finally clicked and I got the opportunity to work with Milwaukee this year and Shaun has obviously seen something he likes.
"It has taken a lot of years to finally get this opportunity and I am going to grab it with both hands. I want to reward Shaun with great results from the first round - carrying on the hard work we have already put in this year."
