MWR Kawasaki set for expansion in 2014

MWR Kawasaki are set to expand their operations in 2014 and add to their Pirelli National Superstock 600 and 1000 classes with a bike for the roads and a possible foray into the new Supersport Evo class.

The team has recently signed Australian James Mutton to ride one of the ZX-6Rs in the Superstock 600 championship as well as retaining the services of South African James Egan who is looking to capitalise on a season’s worth of track and bike knowledge to push at the sharp end of the Stock 1000 field.

"It’s great to be this far advanced in our 2014 plans already. With the two James signed and despite being quite far advanced in talks with a couple of others, the two remaining seats are still available with possibly one in Supersport Evo," said team boss Mark Webster.

"Should any riders wish to discuss the opportunity’s available within the team we will be happy to talk with them. We are also investing heavily into the team for 2014, with a new artic arriving with us very soon and a number of new technical crew joining us, it is all coming together nicely."
