Eugene Laverty has completed his first day of World Superbike testing aboard the Voltcom Suzuki he will campaign in next year's series. He was joined on track by Alex Lowes who will partner him in the team next along with the Kawasaki and Honda teams, plus Claudio Corti made his debut on the Yakhnich MV Agusta.

Cal Crutchlow and the Ducati MotoGP team along with Chaz Davies and the WSBK squad, are expected to arrrive at the circuit on Wednesday for a couple of days before the winter test ban sets in on December 1.
