Reigning British Supersport Champion Stuart Easton says there will be no excuses for not getting results in this year’s MCE British Superbike Championship as he will return to the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team fully fit and focused.
The Hawick man, who had already tested with the team, has all the confidence he needs, is comppletely recovered from his myriad injuries and is in team he knows well, alongside three-time champion Shane Byrne.
"The season away from Superbikes was exactly what I needed to regain my fitness and to come back as British Supersport champion has given me all the confidence I need,” said Easton.
“Like Shakey, I feel at home in this team and now I'm fully fit, I can have no excuses. I loved winning races last year so the plan is to continue that into the Superbike class and hopefully we can sustain a serious title challenge."
