Superbikes pays tribute to Simon Andrews at Donington Park

World and British Superbikes came together at Donington Park this morning to pay tribute to Simon Andrews, who died last Monday.

Four Alfa Romeo course cars, driven by BSB staff and WSBK race director Gregorio Lavilla, made a lap of the Leicestershire track and marshals displayed the number 17 while waving yellow flags.

WSBK technical director Scott Smart said: “Simon will be laughing his head off at making us lot stand out in the rain.”
