Soaring temperatures at this weekend’s MCE British Superbike round at Brands Hatch will prove no problem for the tyres, Pirelli boss Jason Griffiths has assured bikesportnews.com.
A heatwave, also known as summer, has struck Britain with air temperatures expected to remain above 30°C for the whole three days but Griffiths says the Pirelli tyres will hold up.
“The SC0 solution will cope with the high temperatures without a problem. They were used at Laguna Seca in World Superbikes last weekend, with a track temperature as high as 49°C on Sunday, and no problems were reported over the course of either race,” said Griffiths.
