Buildbase BMW’s Ryuichi Kiyonari has not taken part in the MCE British Superbike warm up session at Brands Hatch this morning, but will attempt to go out on the warm up laps in the second race this afternoon.
Kiyonari broke his collarbone during a free practice crash coming out of a damp Graham Hill Bend yesterday and spent the day receiving treatment and missed both the qualifying and race one yesterday. He is still in some pain, but will try and go out to test the collarbone this afternoon.
“I am not so good, but so sorry to everybody about yesterday as I didn’t qualify but I will try my best and I will try to go out in the race, on the warm up lap – and I will always try,” said Kiyonari, speaking at the track this morning.
