MCE British Superbike contender James Ellison has done his first laps on the 2016 JG Speedfit Kawasaki he will use to try and win next year’s championship and was joined by newly-announced team-mate Peter Hickman.

The pair only got a handful of laps as overnight fog at the Spanish track didn’t lift until 4.30pm local time but they expect to get in a full day’s testing tomorrow.
