Honda Racing's Jason O'Halloran lapped a 2'03.722 during the final MCE British Superbike free practice session in wet conditions at Snetterton, and was one second quicker than Team WD-40's newest circuit, Josh Hook.
It was an Australian P1 and P2 on the timing-screens with Tyco BMW's Christian Iddon the third fastest rider with a 2'04.999. The rain did stop just before the final timed session started, but halfway through the heavens opened again.
Not every rider went out in the final practice session today, including local lad Luke Mossey, Honda Racing's Dan Linfoot, JG Speedfit Kawasaki's Peter Hickman and the ePayMe Yamaha duo of Stuart Easton and Broc Parkes.
JG Speedfit Kawasaki's Leon Haslam only did nine laps, and his team-mate James Ellison put down two, because of the changeable track conditions. Title challenger, Be Wiser Ducati's Shane Byrne only did four rotations and finished the session P12.
Dixon, Haslam, Bridewell, Rispoli, Wainwright, Irwin and Laverty completed the top ten FP3 times. But Tyco BMW's Michael Laverty fell at Palmer in the wet conditions, but was declared OK at the trackside. The Northern Irishman was not the only rider to take a tumble, Bennetts Suzuki's Tommy Bridewell fell at Coram and was taken to the medical centre for a check up.
