Aitchison set for move into Quattro Kawasaki?

Former World Superbike star Mark Aitchison could be set for a move into the Quattro Kawasaki British Superbike team in time for the upcoming Oulton Park round after being spotted by eagle-eyed BSN fans today at the Cheshire track.

Aussie Aitchison, who quit his job with the Grillini Progea BMW team, was slated to replace Peter Hickman at Nick Morgan's MSS Bathams Kawasaki outfit, but Morgan chose his own teamster Danny Buchan.

Quattro Kawasaki recently, and acrimoniously, split with Gary Mason and the Elite teams rule require every squad to field two BSB riders, so Aitchison is currently riding Steve Heneghan's National Superstock 1000 ZX-10R around Oulton.
