After picking up a couple of injuries at Thruxton Jason O'Halloran is ready to tackle Cadwell Park this weekend.

Jason O'Halloran arrives at Cadwell Park battered and bruised after a crash at Thruxton. The Australian missed Sunday's races last time out after a crash in warm-up meant he could not take part.

Before his crash on the Sunday O'Halloran finished in third place in the opening race of the weekend at Thruxton. But obviously could not continue his Thruxton form after the crash.

After a two-week break, O'Halloran is looking forward to getting back on the bike and trying to fight at the front.

O’Halloran said: “As everyone knows I don’t live too far from Cadwell Park and it is a round that I really look forward to and it is a track that I really enjoy and a track that I have had good success with in the past. I am looking forward to this weekend as we always get loads of local support and it is a track I have lived close to pretty much the whole time I have been in the UK.

“It will be a little bit more difficult than most as I have a couple of injuries off the back of what happened at Thruxton so I will be trying to manage those the best that I can and obviously trying to not let it affect me over the weekend.

“Thruxton and getting the front row start, leading the first race and finishing third was really positive for us and we gained a lot of experience in the first race on Saturday, which I planned to take into the Sundays races but with the bike issue in warm up unforutnatly we didn’t finish the weekend how we wanted to, so I am looking forward to getting back at it this weekend and one of my favourite rounds of the year.”

O'Halloran ended the Friday evening test at Cadwell Park down in 18th place, 2.2 seconds off of Ryan Vickers' fastest lap time.
