MSS Colchester Kawasaki's Simon Andrews has joined team-mate Julien Da Costa at Le Mans for their first outing on the GSR Kawasaki World Endurance bikes.
It is Andrews first set of pre-season tests and he reckons that it's good to be back out on track after his winter layoff. The bikesportnews.com columnist said: "It's great to be back out on a bike again and nice to have the same team-mate for World Endurance as British Superbikes.
"The GSR Kawasaki isn't as powerful as a BSB bike because it has to last a long time and the suspension is different as we have to make allowances for three riding styles not just one.
"I am enjoying it and now can't wait to get out to Spain with the MSS boys and begin testing the Superbike. The team have been working flat-out to get the ZX-10s ready, and I've even got my name on a plaque on my top yoke."
