IN Competition has announced itself as the latest team to take advantage of the British Superbike Championship’s new Pathway regulations after revealing it will be present on the grid for this weekend’s Brands Hatch season finale.

The team, which competes in National Superstock with Aprilia RSV4 machinery, will join the likes of Team IWR, Marvel HCL and TAG Racing in making the step up for the final round of the 2023 BSB season.

It means Aprilia will be represented on the BSB grid for the first time since the short lived Splitlath Racing effort than competed between 2010 and 2012.

Leading the challenge will be Fraser Rogers, the former WorldSSP rider joining IN Competition in graduating from SSTK having returned to the team at Donington Park.

“I am really excited to be stepping into the Superbike class this weekend. It's a very exciting new project with Aprilia and the IN Competition team and I'm very grateful for the opportunity and look forward to being back on the BSB grid. It’ll be great to have Aprilia back in the Superbike class again as it's been a long time and I believe the bike is capable of great things.

“As always a huge thank you to Ian and Myra Newton for the chance to be on the grid and also to my sponsors, Steve Buckenham, Gary Caught, MJW Specialists and all family and friends who continue to support me.”
