Buildbase Suzuki’s Christian Iddon returns to Bennetts British Superbike racing at Brands Hatch five weeks after breaking his arm.
Iddon was involved in a sighting lap crash at Knockhill resulting in a non-displaced fracture. While the Stockport rider still has some healing to do before being fully fit, he’s confident he can at least challenge for points this weekend as he looks to fight for showdown contention.
“The arm is raceable. It’s not 100% but I’ve done everything I can to make it as good as it can be. We’ll find out more about where it’s at in FP1 but hopefully, once the visor goes down, it won’t be too much of a problem.
“We’ll just build up to it, get back into a groove, into a rhythm, and do the best job we can, as we always do.
“It won’t be the easiest weekend but we’ll try and add to the points tally and stay in the Showdown fight.”
