Buildbase BMW's Steve Brogan will remain under observation in hospital tonight after being knocked out in a Metzeler National Superstock 1000 crash at Brands Hatch earlier today.

The popular Scouser was taken for treatment after the crash and medical staff want to keep an eye on him until the morning. He was otherwide unhurt in the crash which involved other rider.

"Some days you're lucky, others you aren't - and today was definitely one of the latter. Steve was taken out by another rider, and knocked out in the incident. Thankfully he is otherwise unhurt and will be sent home after spending the night under observation in hospital," said team boss Stuart Hicken.
