BRANDS BSB: ELLISON HAS TWEAKS UP HIS SLEEVE FOR TOMORROW

Airwaves Yamaha's James Ellison reckons he has a few more setup tweaks to try in tomorrow's British Superbike morning warm-up before his race season starts proper at Brands Hatch.

The former MotoGP man has slowly pulled his weekend out of the mire, qualifying on the second row today, something he wouldn't have thought possible when an electrical problem wiped him out of Friday's first test session.

"Today has been really positive. We've made some big steps with the set-up on the bike and it shows in how much we've reduced our lap times from yesterday," said the Cumbrian.

"We've got a few more things to try tomorrow and I'll be pushing hard for some good results in both races. A top five finish would be a great reward for all the hard work the Airwaves Yamaha team have put in this weekend."
