Hydrex Honda's Karl Harris continues to set the pace at the Brands Hatch British Superbike opening round, claiming fastest time in this morning's drying fourth free practice with a 46.939 lap
The three-times British Superport Champion held off Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier, who has now completed just 50 laps on the new YZF-R1 in total, with just 0.054s splitting the pair.
Relentless Suzuki's Ian Lowry was third on the timesheets, four-tenths off Harris's pace with Superbike Cup man Gary Mason, on the Quay Garage Honda, continues to impress in fourth with a 47.320.
Simon Andrews on the MSS Colchester Kawasaki is sixth quickest with a 47.367, just 0.015s behind Chris Walker on the Motorpoint Yamaha. Camier's team-mate James Ellison is almost a second off the pace this morning but is on track after his technicians spent most of the night locating a mystery electrical problem which kept him the garage for most of yesterday.
