Hydrex Honda's Karl Harris has kept up his form from yesterday and this morning, finishing the second day of free practice at Brands Hatch British Superbikes at the top of the timesheets.
Harris, who has been the on-form rider from the off, just nipped in front Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier mid-way through the session which was brought to an end by rain. The lanky Kent man finished with a 46.506 lap just 0.071 in arrears.
HM Plant Honda's Steve Plater, who is standing in for the missing Josh Brookes, did just eight laps to record his third place time and must be tiring now as he is riding in two classes this weekend.
Harris's team-mate Stuart Easton finished the session in fourth, only half a second off Harris's pace with Glen Richards in fifth and the increasingly-impressive Superbike Cup runner Gary Mason in sixth, some 1.2s faster his nearest rival.
MSS Colchester Kawasaki's Simon Andrews, who is still in some discomfort after his Mallory Park testing spill, was as high as fifth fastest but fell away to ninth behind Sylvain Guintoli and Chris Walker. Andrews' team-mate Julien Da Costa rounds out the top ten.
James Ellison is still struggling with his bike and looking for some clear track time in the dry.
