PR Racing Kawasaki rider Karl Harris will be on the grid for the first MCE British Superbike race of the year at Brands Hatch, after crashing his bike during the warm up laps this morning.

There is a one bike rule in BSB and the PR Racing Kawasaki team were in a race against time to get the damaged bike ready for the start of the first race.

“It was quite a big shunt, and there was quite a lot of damage to the bike, but structurally the bike is ok. We will put a lot of bits and pieces back on it, to try and make it brand new again for the race. We should be on the grid, as long as Karl is ok, which he seemed to be when he came back.” Said PR Racing Kawasaki crew chief, Tim Broom, speaking to bikesportnews.com at the circuit.
