Quattro Kawasaki’s Dan Linfoot has set himself the target of nicking third place in the final MCE British Superbike points table and says he must beat the Milwaukee Yamahas in all three races this weekend at Brands.
The Harrogate safety pin says he has nothing to lose after already achieving his goal this season of getting into the top six. Linfoot has been a regular top-five contender and beat both Josh Brookes and Tommy Bridewell on the GP circuit in the summer.
“I’ve got nothing to lose. I got into the Showdown and now there is only a six-point gap to Josh in third place with Tommy only four points ahead of me for fourth place so my job is to beat both the Yamahas this weekend,” said Linfoot, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
“I’ve had good pace all year on the Quattro Kawasaki and have beaten them both on the GP circuit already. I’m confident of a good result at Brands and can’t wait to get there.”
