Michael Rutter will join his fourth British Superbike team of the season this weekend when he stands in for the injured Simon Andrews at Brands Hatch on the MSS Colchester Kawasaki
Andrews' scaphoid bone, which has been operated on, hasn't healed enough for him to ride this weekend, so he will sit out the triple-header in order to give it more time to knit.
"I was painting my front door when Nick Morgan rang an hour ago. I thought I had a weekend of DIY ahead of me. I’d just painted it gloss black but I may have to go bright green now," joked Rutter.
"In all seriousness though, I’m bang up for this weekend and I’m really looking forward to it. The MSS Colchester team have worked wonders with the ZX-10R Ninja since I rode it in 07 and I can’t wait to make a nuisance of myself at the front of the field."
