Brands BSB: Ryde takes 125cc pole after wet second session

Reigning Champion Kyle Ryde stormed to the Monster Motostar 125cc pole position with a lap time of 50.120, after today’s qualifying session was written off by rain.

In yesterday’s first qualifying session it was Ryde who took pole by 0.4 of second ahead of fellow Red Bull Rookie, Bradley Ray. Ray was in provisional pole for the majority of the session before Ryde got rid of some demons in his Aprilia 125 and set the fastest lap. In third is young Scotsman, Ryan Watson, as he sneaked his Appleyard/Macadam Seel in front of Luke Hedger in the last moments of the session but he is still 1.2 seconds adrift of pace setter, Ryde.

South African Jordan Weaving heads the second row ahead of Phillip Wakefield. In seventh is Malaysian Hafiq Azmi who tipped off at Clearways during the session. Rounding out the second row is Tom Carne after being bumped back from the front row in the early running.
