Former MotoGP rider Bryan Staring will replace the departing Barry Burrell in Brent Gladwin’s Team WD-40 for this weekend’s MCE British Superbike finale at Brands Hatch.
Burrell was released from his duties by the team following the Silverstone round and Gladwin settled on Staring after talking to a variety of riders.
“These situations are never very easy to manage but we as a Team wish Barry well for the future. In moving forward we were overwhelmed by the interest from riders around the world and are excited to have Bryan with us for this event,” said Gladwin.
“Bryan’s international pedigree speaks for its self with duties in both MotoGP and WSBK, we are looking forward to working with him to evaluate and continue our program with the Superbike.”
