Tommy Bridewell continues to lead the British Superbike Championship with one round to go before the Showdown begins.
At his home round, Tommy Bridewell held his Championship lead. His Championship defence continues to Cadwell Park this weekend at Honda Racing UK's home round.
As it stands Bridewell holds a 25-point lead over Kyle Ryde. With only one round before the Showdown begins, Bridewell is hoping to extend his Championship lead before the final three rounds of the season.
Bridewell said: “We may not have come away from Thruxton with a haul of trophies, but we achieved our objective of extending the championship lead at a round that we know our competitors are strong.
“Heading to Cadwell next, it’s important that we keep our heads down and keep on working together to maximise everything.
"The circuit rewards being precise and accurate, nailing all of your markers and it definitely suits my style. It’s a circuit that I have been strong at in the past and I’m excited to see what results we can achieve with the Fireblade.”
The 2024 season has been Bridewell's first year with the Honda Racing UK Team. During his debut year with the Honda Racing UK Team Bridewell has had one race win and 10 further podium places.
