BSB BOSSES DEEPLY CONCERNED OVER DONINGTON SITUATION

British Superbike series director Stuart Higgs says he is "deeply concerned" about today's news that Donington Park's leaseholders are being sued by the track owners for unpaid rent. (Click here for story)

The series is due to roll into the Leicestershire track in a month's time and some alterations to the track, including a new tunnel dug under the McLeans section, were already causing concern as no race licences have been issued to the circuit since.

Speaking briefly to bikesportnews.com this afternoon, Higgs said: "We are deeply concerned about the Donington Park situation and are looking at all the possible implications for the series."
