British Superbike is delayed as the circuit of Snetterton is drained and cleared following a fierce downpour that flooded the track.
The rain started in time for the riders to leave pit lane on full wets, but with the shear amount of water that fell over the next five to ten minutes the grid was cleared and everyone returned to the garages until further notice.
Currently the rain has decreased to drizzle and final preparations are being done before continuing with the race schedule starting with BSB Race two at 17.30pm now containing 15 laps instead of the original 21.
Due to the delays the final race of the day Metzeler National Superstock 1000 will not run and is to be rescheduled at a future round.
