Buchan to ride at Donington with fractured collarbone

Bathams Kawasaki youngster Danny Buchan will race at this weekend's MCE British Superbike round with a fractured collarbone.

The former Superstock man did the damage during an off in the Cadwell Park final free practice session but it wasn't discovered until after the meeting. The injury isn't at all problematic so Buchan will have no troubles riding at the Leicestershire circuit.

“Since Cadwell I’ve been getting plenty of rest and doing some cardio as it turns out I’ve got a fractured clavicle from the crash in FP3. However apart from the slight mistake in race two, Cadwell was a dream weekend for me. The Superbike really feels like my own now, which I think we proved by running at the front in both races so it’ll be awesome if we can get a couple of top ten finishes here as well," he said.
