BUCKINGHAM TO TAKE A "STEP BACK" FROM RACING

British Superbike Cup star James Buckingham is taking a step back from racing for the rest of the season to allow another rider to carry on his good work with Quay Garage Honda team.
Buckingham, who broke both legs in a massive crash at Oulton Park in 2006, has been dogged by injury and has not been able to find his previous form.
Q8Oils Quay Honda is now looking for a replacement and has spoken to a few high-profile riders in and out of the BSB paddock.
Team principal Ian Woolacott said: " We confident that a replacement rider will be in place in time for the next round at Donington Park on 24-26 May. James will continue his relationship with Quay Garage Racing and will be responsible for technical management, helping to interpret rider feedback and to ensure that the machine set-up is ideal for them."
