Newly-crowned MCE British Superbike Champion has issued a plea on Twitter to find a young boy who was hurt in a melee when the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki man threw his boots into the crowd.

The youngster was apparently knocked about by someone much larger and who should also know better in the scramble for Byrne's Alpinestars. The Kent man has said he will meet the boy at Brands Hatch for laps in the safety car and also square up some presents.

"We need to find the kid that had the boot taken, let's concentrate on that for now. I'll personally meet him at Brands Hatch and take him in the BSB course car for a lap or two, and will sort him some presents," he Tweeted.
