Moto Rapido Ducati boss Steve Moore says he is open to a tie-up with reigning Bennetts British Superbike Champion Shane Byrne if circumstances are favourable.
Byrne put out a tweet earlier this evening, asking Moore if a there would be a slot in the team should his still-recovering neck be in good enough shape next season, and the Hampshire Ducati dealer says it's possible.
"It's a possibility, for sure. I'd like to get things sorted out with our current rider first and then there are a lot of other things to consider before we could make any kind of financial commitment that size but yes, it's definitely something to think about," Moore told bikesportnews.com this evening.
"Clearly having someone with Shane's pedigree in our garage would be a massive bonus but there are an awful lot of things that would need to fall into place for that to happen."
