It has been a long time coming but Confuced.com Kawasaki's Simon Andrews has finally stood on the British Superbike podium, taking third place in race two at Cadwell Park today.
Originally fourth, Andrews was promoted to the last podium place when Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier was disqualified for ingnoring black/orange flags for a technical problem with his bike.
"It's not the way I wanted to get the podium, but a podium is a podium so we will take it. It makes up for Mallory Park in way," said Andrews, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening in a particularly sexy voice.
"It was s shame I couldn't have kept Stuart behind me to get what would have ended up second but I got it wrong over the Mountain on the last lap and just wasn't close enough going into the Hairpin so I settled for what I thought was fourth."
