CADWELL BSB: ANDREWS' WRIST RECOVERY PROGRESSING WELL

Confused.com Kawasaki's Simon Andrews reckons his injured wrist is recovering well and is looking forward to this weekend's Cadwell Park British Superbike meeting - even though he hasn't raced for two months.

The Evesham man is due to go back to Belgium next week to have a check up on the scaphoid he broke in testing at Snetterton mid-season but says he now has a lot more movement in it.

"Cadwell shouldn't be so bad as there are only two chicanes and most of the track is right handed, so I will be able to rest my left hand," said Andrews, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.

"Moving around on the bike might get tiring but when the adrenlin kicks in I don't think I will notice it. I just want to get back out there and show what the team is capabable of doing."
