Buildbase BMW’s youngest rider, Lee Jackson came close to clinching two top ten finishes at his local MCE British Superbike round at Cadwell Park, but he finished race-one in twelfth and the final outing in eleventh, leaving the rider a tad frustrated.
The Lincoln lad was aiming for a finish inside the top ten at Cadwell, but he was pipped to the post in race-two by Honda Racing’s Dan Linfoot. But the rider is thinking positively and managed not crash to come away with some points yesterday.
“We have had a solid weekend and we didn’t have any crashes which has been good and we finished both races. After race-one I wanted to get inside the top ten at my local round, and I got frustrated at finishing eleventh,” said Jackson, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
“But I felt I had the pace to be inside the top ten, but at the end of the day I was happy. Two strong finishes - and the pace has been good and I am looking forward to Oulton now.”
