GBmoto’s Dan Linfoot is determined to come away with some good results in the MCE British Superbike races at Cadwell Park, and knows that he has to ‘up his game’ if he wants to battle for a solid finish.
The rider did not venture out in the opening free practice session this morning, due to the wet conditions, but he did complete some laps in the second session this afternoon and finished tenth fastest overall with a 1’29.074. Linfoot has a history of being a ‘slow starter’ around the Lincolnshire track, but vows to change that and come out fighting for qualifying tomorrow.
“It is not a bad start, we chose to miss this morning when it was wet because the rest of the weekend looks dry so there is no point risking anything in the rain at Cadwell Park,” said Linfoot, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the circuit.
“Notoriously I have been a slow starter around here so I was eager to get out as fast as I could. I finished the session in tenth, but for the first run it is not so bad. There are a few weak areas, but the bike is in a good place and I have to up my game here at Cadwell Park.”
