McAMS' Tarran Mackenzie is set to miss Sunday's Bennetts British Superbike Championship race action at Cadwell Park, legacy of his hefty spill in Saturday's opening encounter.
The Yamaha rider clipped the grass in between the hairpin and Barn Corner during race one yesterday afternoon, and was promptly fired over the highside as his R1 cartwheeled spectacularly into the scenery.
The 25-year old escaped relatively unscathed but two broken fingers have been diagnosed and with the chance of podium credits looking slim, he and the team have taken the decision to sit out Sunday's two races.
