Node4 Yamaha's Dan Linfoot reckons that he underestimated how physical the British Supersport race at Cadwell Park would be and needs to work on his upper body strength after spending so much time on crutches.
The Harrogate youngster, who is still recovering from his massive high-side at Snetterton, grabbed a fifth place in the race but suffered with arm problems throughout the weekend.
"Because I spent a lot of time sitting around with a broken foot, I wasn't able to train. I rode at Brands but that isn't anything like as physical as Cadwell Park," said Linfoot, talking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"I rode round in first practice and about halfway through my forearms really started to hurt. I went to the medical centre and they strapped my right shoulder up which helped a bit but it was just a lack of strength.
"I also managed to get a knee infection last week, so that didn't help with training either but I am fully sorted now and can crash the gym every day so I am ready for Croft. I really want to get back on the podium and start winning before the end of the year."
