Cadwell BSB: O’Halloran hopeful of home advantage

McAMS Yamaha’s Jason O’Halloran arrives at Cadwell Park with a 24 point lead in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Having taken seven wins and finishing no lower than third in the last 12 races, O’Halloran holds almost a race-victory advantage over fellow Yamaha rider Brad Ray with three up for grabs over the bank holiday weekend.
The Australian scored three rostrum finishes at Cadwell last season including winning the final race at what he considers his home round after living in Lincolnshire for well over a decade and is looking to add to his podium credits tally this time around.

“I really enjoy riding at Cadwell Park,” O’Halloran said, “It’s unlike any other track in the UK and probably one of my favourite circuits on the calendar.

“Last year we had two seconds and a win, which was one of my most enjoyable wins of the year as it came at what I’d consider my home track. I might be an Aussie but Lincolnshire has been my home for a long time now!

"We’ve had a good run these last few races, we haven’t been off the podium in the last 12 races. The plan has to be to continue that with the focus on podium points to put us in the strongest position possible to fight for the title over the last three rounds which are approaching very fast!’
