Worx Suzuki's returning rider Sylvain Guintoli has admitted that the prospect of racing at this weekend's Cadwell Park British Superbike has caused butterflies in his stomach.
The French former MotoGP man, who has been out of action with a broken leg since Donington Park, says it feels like the start of the season all over again and reckons the challenge of Cadwell is bigger than the challenge of returning to the track
"I'm really looking forward to the racing. There's the challenge of coming back and then there's the challenge of Cadwell Park, and right now I'm starting to think the challenge of Cadwell may be the greater," said Guintoli.
"I feel very strong and very confident but now I am starting to feel the excitement in my stomach – I'm getting the butterflies! For me, it feels like the beginning of the season all over again and while there's pressure I think it is positive pressure. I really cannot wait to get started."
