Cadwell BSB: Ray ‘working to maintain podium momentum’

‘Party in the park’ is back this weekend as Rich Energy OMG Yamaha’s Brad Ray celebrates his BSB Showdown security at Cadwell.

Round seven sees the Bennetts British Superbike Championship tackle the Lincolnshire’s mountain and the demanding 2.25-mile Cadwell Park circuit across the bank holiday weekend with Ray eager to produce more success after a thrilling Thruxton visit secured his place in the all-important Showdown last time out.

“Cadwell Park is a place that holds good memories for me and it’s a track I really enjoy riding,” Ray said ahead of his Cadwell return.

“I’ve had some of my best results of previous seasons there.

"Especially in 2018 when I took pole position and scored two second-place finishes, so it’s somewhere that definitely suits my style, and I can’t wait to get out on track there on my RICH Energy OMG Racing Yamaha R1.

“We know the bike is good around there as Jason [O’Halloran] proved last season, so we’ll be working hard to maintain the momentum we found at Thruxton and push for wins and podium credits again.”
