Samsung Honda's Michael Laverty thinks the chatter he encountered during the final British Superbike test sessions at Cadwell Park yesterday will only be particular to a couple of circuits in 2012 and shouldn't cause him any problems.
The title challenger is suffering with the vibration on corner entry and says it is more than likely set off by the bike's air bleed and clutch setup but the way the Fireblade performs on the way out of turns more than makes up for it.
"We didn't experience it when we tested here last but we are a couple of seconds faster this time and we have changed the setup so much I'm not surprised but it's no big problem and nothing I can't race with," said Laverty, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"I think the chatter will only happen at a couple of tracks we go to so it all looks good for Brands Hatch next weekend. The bike is ready and I certainly am. We can probably move forward a little with setup but I'm confident."
