Quattro Plant Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey was up the sharp-end when it came to putting down some fast lap times during the Cartagena Pro-Test today, and the MCE British Superbike rider is feeling happy going in to the final day at the Spanish track on Sunday.
He was the quickest rider in the unofficial lap times today, with a 1’33.1 and has been using the penultimate day of testing at the circuit to work on a comfortable base setting on his ZX-10R.
Mossey believes that he might finish the final session tomorrow earlier than expected as he feels comfortable on his machine and is content with his pace on a used tyre too.
“I am really happy with today and we didn’t even finish the second session as I feel that we have got to a good point today. We did a few stints on a used tyre here and I have definitely been getting more comfortable with the new Kawasaki,” said Mossey.
“We have been able to find a good base setting after the time we have had at Almeria and the three days here. We are going to probably wrap up early tomorrow as I feel that we have ticked all the boxes we needed to and I am happy with what we have achieved.”
