Metzeler National Superstock 100 front-runner Victor Cox will make his MCE British Superbike debut at the Assen round when he joins veteran Chris Walker in the Primo Bournemouth Kawasaki team.
Cox goes into the meeting on loan from the ILR Kawasaki squad and replaces Gary Mason. He has made good progress in the hard-fought production class and both ILR's Ian Lougher and Primo boss Pete Extance thinks the time is right for a step up.
“Already this season Chris has delivered the goods in the form of the team’s first ever Superbike win at a damp and demanding Oulton Park. Given his knowledge of Assen, and skill in all types of weather conditions, we are quietly confident he will make good points progress in Holland," said Extance.
“As for Victor, we are thankful to Ian Lougher for releasing him for this round and we hope to repay his generosity with a solid top ten or better aboard the Ninja ZX-10R."
