Crescent Suzuki have revealed that tool firm Worx has become their title sponsor in British Superbikes after signing a two-year deal to become Worx Crescent Suzuki.

The team lost their Rizla backing at the end of last year and it looked, financially at least, bad for the team event though they secured former MotoGP man Sylvain Guintoli as the sole rider.

Team boss Jack Valentine has remained positive and upbeat through the winter, and lap times at Almeria and Guadix tests showed the French rider is more than up to the task.

"It's always great to welcome new sponsors to the sport and with Worx we have a partner who shares our enthusiasm and will to succeed. With an initial two-year deal, we look forward to a long and successful partnership, and can't wait to get the new liveried GSX-R1000 out in action with Sylvain Guintoli, at the first round of the championship at Brands Hatch," said Valentine.
