British Superbike star Karl Harris says he is looking forward to riding for the Node4 Yamaha team this weekend at Croft as he wants to enjoy being able to go racing again.
Harris, who was sensationally sacked by Hydrex Honda on Thursday night, joins the Rob McElnea-run team to replace Jon Kirkham who is still suffering with injuries he suffered a few rounds ago.
"I just want to enjoy racing again. There won't be any pressure this weekend so I can just get on with it. Racing with the Hydrex team was great and they are a good bunch, but we didn't click properly," said Harris, talking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
"Chris (Walker) has put the Yamaha on the podium already this year so there's no reason why it can't be done again. I have proven I can run at the front and, hopefully, we can have a good weekend at Croft."
