CUMMINS TO TEST WITH AIM YAMAHA AT CROFT

Manxman Conor Cummins is to test with the AIM Yamaha team at Croft in early September with a view to taking part in the subsequent British Superbike meeting at the Darlington track.

Cummins, who recently split with his NCT Vanfit team, will test the team's Yamaha R1 Superbike while current Supersport rider David Paton, who was involved in the incident at Monday which saw James Dye taken to hospital, will continue aboard the R6.
An AIM spokesman said: "Conor is to ride the AIM Superbike at Macau so the test is a good opportunity to get to grips with the bike and also get to know the team prior to Macau. He will ride the supersport bike at Croft and again it will give him a further opportunity to become acquainted with the team setup."
Steve Plater will still be on his honeymoon, presumably... Congratulations, Splat, from all at www.bikesportnews.com.
