Danny Kent and his eponymous Lovell Kent Racing team have announced it won't be present for this weekend's eighth round of the 2023 British Superbike Championship [BSB].

The 2015 Moto3 World Champion is currently into his third season of BSB competition, Kent having gone it alone this season with his own family-run set-up running a privateer Honda CBR1000RR-R package.

However, despite a strong run of form in recent rounds that have seen him fly the flag as Honda's strongest represented rider on the grid, Kent has been forced to put his season on hold due to 'circumstances beyond the team's control'..

Kent and LKR Honda remain hopeful it can return to the grid for one or more of the final three rounds to come after this weekend's Cadwell Park event.

Having started the season with a strong turn at Silverstone that saw him lead for the majority of the third race, Kent has since gone on to collect two podiums at Brands Hatch and holds down tenth in the overall standings.
