DONINGTON BSB: ANDREWS' ELECTRONIC BUGS IRONED OUT

MSS Colchester Kawsaki's Simon Andrews reckons he is desperate to get to grips with a fully-functional set of electronics at Donington Park's British Superbike round this weekend.

The Evesham man opted to switch off all his rider aids during qualifying at Oulton Park and ride the old-fashioned way which resulted in a second-row start and being able to stary with leaders before a crash and other problems got in the way.

"A guy from Magneti Marelli has been over the workshop to help us iron out all of the bugs in the system and it should now be all systems go with all of the electronics working together and with me," said Andrews, speaking to bikesportnews.com at Donington Park.

"It will be good to get out there tomorrow knowing that it all fits together. I will take a few laps to get used to all the changes and then we should be in a good position to start fighting for the front row on Sunday."
