Fan favourite Karl Harris has been ruled out of further MCE British Superbike action at Donington Park this weekend after a tangle with newcomer Danny Buchan this afternoon left him with a fractured wrist.

Buchan and Harris went down on the entry to Goddards in free practice two and Bomber was taken to the medical centre where the fracture was revealed. In typical Harris style, he has said he will most definitely be riding at Assen in two weeks.

"It was one of those things. I think he lost the rear, then let off the brakes and just came into the side of me. It's only a fracture but I have injured that wrist before so it is better not to take a chance to be fair, but I will be back for Assen no problems," said Harris, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening.
