Following a race full of battles Kelvin Reilly of Inmoto Corse continues to lead the championship to 100 points following his win in race two of the KTM RC8 Super Cup improving on his disappointing non finishing result in race one.
David Wood of KTM UK resurrected his championship title chase with taking a win followed by a second place giving him 45 points putting him eighth in the championship as he battled with Reilly and Christian Iddon of KTM UK.
Iddon eventually had to settle for the final step on the podium again a positive result after also not finishing race one. As the race progressed Pauli Pekkanen of Inmoto Corse had caught up to the leading group, but couldn’t quite stick with the pace, but was able to finish fourth for the second time this weekend.
The battles continued further down the order with eventually Ed Smith of Redline KTM and James Edmeades of Redline Motorcycles/VCG causing the race to be red flagged following a crash at Mcleans on lap 8. With the stoppage being over half race distance the race was declared.
Iddon also took first in the Cup championship followed by Sam Bishop of Kester Cunningham John/Sam Bishop Racing and Jonathan Railton of Ducks X Racing.
