Gearlink Kawsaki's Chris Martin is hoping to make a return to the British Supersport grid at Donington Park this weekend only three weeks after crashing and seriously damaging his ankle at Oulton last time out.
The youngster will have to pass a medical exam at the circuit before being allowed out in Saturday's first set of practice sessions. Team boss Michael de Bidaph is confident that will happen.
He said: "Chris has recovered well from his ankle injury and we are confident he will be taking his place on the starting grid at Donington this weekend. Both he and Ben Wilson are looking forward to further track action and can’t wait to climb on board their Gearlink Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R machines."
The team will also have a new National Superstock rider in the shape of Jamie Hamilton after Marcus Woodbine left the squad by mutual consent.
